Choir ▼ ▲
We are fortunate to have a small choir which leads the singing at services. It welcomes new singers to share in the uplifting musical worship life of the Church.
It is directed by Michael Anthony, the organist.

The Organ ▼ ▲

It originally had two manuals and pedals, with 22 speaking stops and couplers, but in 2005 a large bequest made it possible to overhaul the instrument and enlarge it to have three manuals with pedals and 37 speaking stops, benefitting from an increased range of couplers as well as a piston control system. The work was carried out by Jonathan Wallace and his team from Henry Groves and Son Ltd., of Nottingham.
It is now regarded by many as being of cathedral standard, and frequent recitals and concerts are given deploying the full capability of the instrument. There is currently a team of three organists playing for the Church’s range of services, led by Michael Anthony.
Social Team ▼ ▲
The church has a very proactive Social Team, organising events throughout the year . These events raise funds for the church and are often supported by the groups affiliated to the church.
The Social Team welcomes new members. If you are interested in joining, please contact Jillian Naylor Tel: 0115 9161787
New Young Christians (NYC) Group ▼ ▲
New Young Christians (NYC) is a Christian-based Youth Group, set up at St Marys the Virgin and All Souls, as a response to the lack of Christian activities in the parish for those who are teenagers.
We meet every other Friday at the church, and are integral with the running of the church, as we have input in the PCC and plan a church service every month.
